OH MY GOD GUYYYYYS!! 1/6 OF THE YEAR IS ALREADY LIKE GONE :O So I didn’t read as much as I did in January (I was stuck at the beginning of the month with Never Fade… I had forgotten everything of The Darkest Minds, so it didn’t help to get into the book…), but it’s good enough, I guess. I might higher up my Goodreads Reading Challenge, but we’ll see. Last year, I didn’t read much in July (like 2 books) and then September, October, November and December were horrible months to read. So I’ll see :P.
Hello everyone! My very good friend @writingonhands tagged me to do the Inside Out Book Tag :D
(Btw go follow her and talk to her. And also go watch the movie if you haven’t done so yet.)
I’m sorry it says ‘a book’ but for me it’s more 'all the books you can think of in five seconds and/or can see on your selves when you turn around’.
Joy- a book that made you happy or made to laugh.
Can’t choose one exactly but the Rick Riordan books are usually funny, Cassandra Clare’s too (JACE AND SIMON’S SARCASM THO).
Most books I’ve read got little touches of happy moments.
(If fluffy moments are accepted: gosh CARRY ON BY RAINBOW ROWELL.)
Sadness- a book that made you really sad or that broke your heart
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe - Benjamin Alire Saenz (I cried so hard and it’s so beautiful and movie and perfection)
John Green’s books (duh)
CLOCKWORK PRINCESS GODDAMMIT - Cassie
Fear- a book that made you scared or nervous
Well, the Mara Dyer trilogy (mostly the second one) was creepy sometimes. Does that count as 'being afraid’?
Otherwise I don’t usually read book that scare me?
Disgust- a book that you started to read and it disgusted you so much (or you lost interest) that you had to stop
I don’t really get disgusted by books? Not ones that I usually pick anyway?
But I do lose interest in many books either because I read another at the same time or I dunno wasn’t the right moment?
Fury- a book or character that made you rage
All (nah kidding)
Allegiant-Veronica Roth (though I understand BUT STILL)
Blood of Olympus- Rick Riordan (argg)
*BONUS* Bing Bong- a book that you love from your childhood or the one that made you love reading
So I started reading for real in French (le journal d'Aurelie Laflamme) but I started to read in English at like 12-13 years old? So I guess Divergent/TMI made me love reading in English I guess (nostalgia)
Uh, tagging… @yepperdoodledoo @ultimatesweetvengeance @dallas-chandelier and other people?
Ps if you even wanna talk about books with me, don’t be shy XD I keep posting random other stuff I’m sorry I just can’t stop XD
So I’m reading this really sad book and I told my mom about and she was like ‘it’s really sad. You should read more joyful books’, but in French there’s this word 'gai’ that means joyful and my mom is a bit homophobic so I couldn’t stop smiling and she didn’t understand why. In my head I was just like 'yeah sure I’ll read more gay books’ XD… Sorry I’m probably tired this is so random
Hey people! How are you all?
So I finished another book^^ It is Guardian by Alex London (alex–london) and it’s the sequel to Proxy, and there’s only 2 books….
So basically Proxy is a dystopian book in which you have a society having patrons (rich people) and proxies (poor people). And proxies are linked to patrons by dept and the way they can erase that dept is to pay when their patrons do shitty stuff. So Syd, main character, is a proxy and Knox, other main character, is his patron. At some time, Syd wants to escape and the way he can do that is to fake his ID, and oh surprise, the person we lead him to (that can fake his ID) is Knox. And then stuff happen and you die because it’s perfect.
Now if you already have read Proxy and not Guardian (SPOILERS FOR PROXY): Syd is like the symbol of the new regime (it’s like Katniss in Mockingjay), but people (old Guardians and old people) start getting sick and when no one of influence wants to help him, he finds a way to make things right, by himself. And then you die because I mean, you miss Knox and you cry because I mean, Liam you’re just so cute….
So generally, no spoilers (if you want a full review, please feel free to ask me :)), I really liked that book. It was a bit slow at the beginning and then you just couldn’t get away from it. I started it like a 4 pm and I just finished it and it’s like 10 pm and I had to eat and make supper and stuff and that made me lose time but anyway. You get new characters and you get back to old characters and you still are attached to Syd. So generally, I put 4 stars on goodreads for that one :).
Other books I plan on reading eventually: Never Fade, Patrick Ness’ books.
Don’t forget to ask me stuff anytime for whatever reason :) and also I’ll probably post a list/summary of what I thought of the books I read in 2015 so far.
Have a god day

Second book of the year… LEMME DIE. I need to get back to fantasy books where we get a bit less of that kind of feels. God. I died.
So there’s this REALLY BEAUTIFUL book called All the Bright Places, written by Jennifer Niven AND IF YOU READ IT YOU WILL DIE !!!! It’s so good and it’s so adorable and sad and oh my god!! It’s a bit better if you don’t look at the summary, because you get into it without knowing too much and that’s what you need :)
If you want a complete review, you can always ask me and fangirl with me and anything :)
Books I think could go well with it, as in same genre: It’s Kind of a Funny Story (Ned Vizzini), I’ll Give You the Sun.
Other contemps I liked: Fangirl (Rainbow Rowell), the John Green books, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (Benjamin Alire Sáenz).
Other books that could get out of the feels so you wouldn’t die again and forever (they aren’t contemps): Proxy (Alex London), Pathfinder (Orson Scott Card), Throne of Glass (Sarah J Maas).
Books I plan to read next (possibly): Trouble (Non Pratt), The Maze Runner (James Dashner), More Than This & The Knife of Never Letting Go (Patrick Ness).
Have a good day :)

Hello!
Now those who understand where that title come from, PLEASE ASK ME STUFF SO WE CAN FANGIRL ABOUT THAT, uh, MOMENT!!! I NEED THERAPY!!!!
And those who don’t know, well it’s from a book. It’s called Clockwork Princess, and it’s the third and final book in The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. Now, if you don’t know what those books are, YOU NEED TO GO IMMEDIATELY BUY THEM (or go to the library, I understand you may not want to buy books because it’s expensive, THO THOSE ONE ARE TOTALLY WORTH IT…)… Anyway. I won’t do any summary or whatever, just… It’s good. Go read them. Key words that will make you fall in love with them if you’re not already: London. Victorian period. Hot boys. Badass. Cassie’s world.
Now for what happened. So my mom went to this meeting at school about blabla what we’re gonna do and blablabla and meeting the teachers and blablabla, and she learned… *drum roll* that… … … There’s…. A PROJECT CALLED ‘THE BEST OF ENGLAND’… It’s a trip. Ok, I know the school trips do suck sometimes because they are too short and blabla BUT STILL!!! And understand, I’ve always (I think) wanted to go to England. AND WITH THAT PASSAGE THAT I CANT NAME BECAUSE ITS A SPOILER… … … I wanna go.
So that’s it. Wanna go there with school to that bridge. WOULD BE SO COOL!!!
So basically I
1) stopped posting book reviews (I’m such a lazy person)
2) stopped reading (yeah for like a month I didn’t read books, I read LOTF fanfictions. What is life.)
3) spammed everyone with LOTF (I will continue)
4) finished reading Blue Lily, Lily Blue (AAAH so good) so I will probably add that to my spamming chain, sorry
5) please come and talk to me I love you people
6) I’m now at 180 followed 😮😮😮 so I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone I LOVE YOU PEOPLE :D

Hi!! So this IS the spoilery section. The non-spoilery is on another post.
OK, so please, no hate. I understand that you might have different opinions and I respect that, just… no hate.
OK, so when I finished the book, I was disappointed. Like in HoH. But most books that disappoint me at first reading are finally really good when I reread them (Fire, TID, HoH, etc.). I thought it ended too fast, Percy wasn’t there, it looked like there was lots more but it was cut short and that’s it, that the Nico-Percy at the end was too brief, and stuff.
Then I waited for tumblr to react. So I learned to love it. And my opinion stabilized itself. And because we are in a society of negative-ness, i’m sorry if most of my points are negative. I’ll try to stay on focus. This is going to be long, I’m sorry.
I think I’ve said everything.
So in general… I’d give it 85%. Because I would’ve wanted so much more. Because it didn’t seem like an end to a technically ten-book-series. But also because it was Rick Riordan. And we had our characters and it was still special.
If I haven’t, feel free to reblog and say stuff. Or ask me stuff. That’s always cool.
I’m sorry for the long post :)
Kikyra
(Sorry, ending quickly, have to go!!!)
